Biden's Open Border Has Terror Experts Sounding The Alarm
If you are a terrorist, it's the best time ever to get into America
One of the primary jobs of the President of the United States is to protect American citizens from foreign threats and to ensure national security. One of the most obvious ways to do that is to ensure America has a secure border. It’s the government’s job to know everything about who is coming into the country. The border has been wide open since Biden took office and estimates that 10 to 20 million people have entered.
Most Americans don’t live in fear of terrorism since so many years have passed since 9/11 without another attack. There are people who weren’t alive during the attacks, don’t remember them, have forgotten the significance, or don’t think something like that could happen again. We have a lot of people in and out of government who think like that in the last sentence. They think everyone coming across the border wants a better life and would never harm America or American citizens.
National security experts are warning the threat of a terrorist attack on America is at a dangerously high level. Former CIA Deputy Director Mike Morrell, who served in the Obama administration, wrote in a Foreign Affairs op-ed that the terror threat posed by vulnerabilities at the U.S.-Mexico border is “blinking red.” FBI Director Christopher Wray and U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Gen. Michael Kurilla said there are serious threats from terrorist groups like al-Qaeda, ISIS, and ISIS-K.
They think everyone coming across the border wants a better life and would never harm America or American citizens.
There were eight Tajikistan nationals with ties to ISIS who were arrested earlier this month. The potential terrorists entered through the southern border and requested asylum as millions of other migrants from all over the world. In March, over 130 people were killed at a concert in Russia by four men from Tajikistan. Last summer a group of Uzbek nationals crossed the southern border with help from a facilitator with ISIS ties.
The CPB reported in 2023 there were a record 169 encounters with individuals on the terror watch list. The number of arrests in 2023 is higher than the last six years combined. It’s not only people from Central or South America. From Oct. 2021 to Oct. 2023, border agents apprehended 6,386 nationals from Afghanistan, 3,153 from Egypt, 659 from Iran, and 538 from Syria. Agents encountered 12,624 from Uzbekistan, 30,830 from Turkey, 1,613 from Pakistan, 164 from Lebanon, 185 from Jordan, 123 from Iraq, and 15,594 from Mauritania during those two years.
The potential terrorists entered through the southern border and requested asylum just as millions of other migrants from all over the world do.
There’s been an increase in encounters with Chinese migrants too. In 2021, CPB encountered 30 mainland Chinese migrants not at ports of entry. In 2023, that number was 24,050 and encounters are on track to reach 60,000 in 2024. Why would there be an increase of 330 to 24,000 in the span of a few years from our biggest geopolitical foe? I’m sure one of our biggest adversaries wouldn’t be trying to take advantage of our border while so many people can get into the United States with no trouble.
How many potential terrorists need to sneak in for Biden to secure the border? Why, and more importantly how, are people from Iran, Egypt, and Uzbekistan coming across the world and getting into America by ignoring our immigration laws and system? A poor person in Uzbekistan probably doesn’t have the money for world travel. Will it take another 9/11-type terrorist attack from people who crossed the border to secure it? If politicians on both sides did their jobs, securing the border wouldn’t be difficult and you and your family would be safer.
