Why Average Americans Won't Care About Trump's Trial by November
Five months is an eternity in a presidential election
It’s hard to believe one of the top issues in November for Americans struggling to make ends meet will be Trump’s New York trial after what the country has experienced during the Biden administration.
We’ve gone through COVID insanity with masking and get the jab or lose your job mandates, out-of-control grocery prices, record energy bills, national security lapses with an open border, rising crime and homelessness, unnecessary high gas prices, wars breaking out in Ukraine and Gaza, and record home prices with high interest rates. Biden doesn’t have a track record of success for regular Americans.
Inflation is the biggest reason voters won’t care about Trump’s trial. You don’t have to follow the news to know paying your bills is harder. No one looks forward to seeing the price tag for monthly groceries. Consumer prices have risen 20% during his administration. Americans pay $15,133 per year, or $1,261 per month, more to purchase the same goods and services compared to the day Biden took office. Have you gotten your 20% cost-of-living raise to keep up?
No new wars started under President Trump and the world was a much more peaceful place. There was never a thought of Russia using nuclear weapons which would change the world forever. We live with that threat every day now because of the Ukraine war. What has Biden done to make the world safer and more peaceful? None of his accomplishments measure up to Trump’s Abraham Accords which normalized relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco.
Inflation is the biggest reason voters won’t care about Trump’s trial.
According to Newsweek, the majority of Americans think the economy is going in the wrong direction despite Biden saying the economy is doing great. “Experts” agree with Biden as well. Whenever you hear “experts” after the past four years, you should be skeptical of everything they say. Have the experts had to go out and find a job? Have they been on LinkedIn and seen people putting out desperate pleas for a job after applying to 500 jobs and getting nowhere? That’s the great economy Biden says he created.
Young people trying to achieve the American dream of home ownership should be furious. New college graduates with marketable degrees can’t buy a home in major metros. At the end of Trump’s term in 2020, the average home price was $371,100. Four years later it’s $513,100. It’s not smart for many people who own homes to move because the equity they have isn’t enough for a down payment to cut their monthly mortgage with high interest rates and record prices.
There is a percentage of people who never will vote for Trump even knowing all of Biden’s failures. Trump could have cured cancer, solved poverty, ended world hunger, eliminated racism worldwide, created world peace and people on the far Left still wouldn’t vote for him. Left-wing media careers depend on hating him for ratings no matter what he does so they can’t be honest. It’s up to independents and traditional Democrats to swing the election.
This is the first time since 1892 that a former president is running against an incumbent which makes it easy to compare the candidates. Was the economy better and the world more peaceful under Trump or Biden? Does it matter more to you if it’s easier to put food on the table and have a more peaceful world for your kids or is it more important to keep Trump out of office because the Left convicted him in a show trial?
