Left-wing censorship is on the rise and doesn’t look like it will slow down. Modern leftists aren’t the same free speech defenders as traditional liberals of the past. The modern Left believes any speech they don’t agree with is hate speech and that speech shouldn’t be allowed in the public square.

This raises a lot of concerns for future campaigns for conservatives. Everyone knows platforms like Google, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook censor, shadowban, and expel people who don’t 100% go along with the left-wing narrative. Twitter booted Marjorie Taylor-Greene for what they deem misinformation about vaccines and that she said they were failing. It’s hard to argue the vaccines AREN’T failing with COVID blowing up across the country.

Republicans complained about their treatment on the major social media platforms so they tried to build their own and the Left freaked out. Parler was gaining traction until Amazon Web Services decided to destroy them after January 6th by taking down their site. It hasn’t been the same since. Gettr is getting its day in the spotlight, but will it just become another right-wing echo chamber? Conservatives won’t reach anyone new on these platforms.
