Why the Employer Vaccine Mandate Fight Is Far from Over
The SCOTUS ruling didn't go far enough to stop employers from forcing medical procedures on employees

Opponents of Biden’s unconstitutional OSHA vaccine mandate shouldn’t celebrate too long because the fight isn’t over.
I, like others not on the far-left, was thrilled to hear Supreme Court’s 6-3 ruling against the mandate, but my excitement took a big hit when I saw the 5-4 decision to uphold it for healthcare workers. It’s a win for companies who led the fight against this and stand for medical freedom like The Daily Wire. We owe them a debt of gratitude for not complying and leading the charge against this.
The problem is the ruling doesn’t stop companies from mandating their employees get the shots. States and localities can pass their own mandates by legislation. Far-left areas like Washington DC with power-hungry leaders will mandate vaccines with no testing option on their own. You can still work for an employer who wants to force medical decisions on you depending on where you live.
An opinion columnist on Fox News got a bit too excited about the ruling. He said the pandemic of the autocrat is over and the American workforce is safe from its government. It’s only safe from the OSHA ruling. There are plenty of autocrats in left-wing big business who will continue to mandate the COVID shot. We know employers have no shame in forcing things on to their employees they don’t want like wokeness at work so forced shots shouldn’t be a problem.
You can still work for an employer who wants to force medical decisions on you depending on where you live.
Joe Biden isn’t giving up on forcing what’s becoming therapeutic injections on Americans because of the ruling. He said, “As a result of the Court’s decision, it is now up to States and individual employers to determine whether to make their workplaces as safe as possible for employees and whether their businesses will be safe for consumers during this pandemic by requiring employees to take the simple and effective step of getting vaccinated.”
The next battlegrounds are at your employer, your kid’s school, local, and state levels because the federal government has been defeated in this case. Plenty of blue states won’t blink and the ruling probably will embolden them to defy a conservative-leaning court out of spite. The Left is invested in “the science” of these injections so they will never back down until forced to.
There are plenty of autocrats in woke big business who will continue to mandate the COVID shot.
An employer could justify forcing the shot because it’s shown to be effective in preventing hospitalization or death. That could decrease insurance costs if fewer employees go to the hospital with COVID. If they don’t force it, they could jack up your rates as they do with tobacco users. You could love or hate that depending on your COVID shot status.
Opponents of medical tyranny won a major battle this week, but the fight is only beginning. The Supreme Court proved they aren’t 100% against forced mandates with their healthcare ruling. They could get a case against an employer, pre-school, university, or government and go the other way depending on how it’s structured or if a justice like Roberts, Coney-Barrett, or Kavanaugh forgets about the Constitution that day.
